About Rock Point Summer Camp:

  • Camp is held at the Bishop Booth Conference Center in Burlington, Vermont on the shore of Lake Champlain.  Campers reside with counselors in cabins and eat in the Butterfield dining room.  Camp begins Sunday with registration from 2-5pm and concludes with Eucharist the following Friday at 3pm.  Families are welcome and encouraged to attend the closing Eucharist.  Young people will experience God and Christian community daily in a variety of settings relating to a common theme.
  • Campers at Rock Point have a full schedule of activities each day, including a thematic spiritual and educational program.  Recreation such as swimming, canoeing, hiking, sports, games, cookouts on the shore of Eagle Bay, and creative interest groups are woven into each day.
  • Daily worship at Rock Point is offered in a variety of settings and traditions.  An Episcopal clergy person fills the role of Camp Chaplain and is present for daily Eucharist.  The Holy Rhythm of Rock Point Summer Camp includes a routine of daily morning and evening prayer and Compline.  The weekly theme is integrated into every aspect of the camp experience.
